 If you are having difficulty with downloads, installation, or operation, please leave word by telephone or preferably by email at support@fostersystems.com. We will make arrangements to help you get started.


 Beginning with Release 1.9.8 you must update to ASCOM platform Version 6.3 or higher to take full advantage of the updates. if you have not done that until now; this is important for Windows 7 and Windows 10 PC's. Be advised that the USB drivers are in "catch-up" mode because of frequent Windows 10 changes. Exercise caution with "latest" driver updates since they may not yet be stable.

Beginning with Release 1.9.8 you must update to ASCOM platform Version 6.0 SP2 or higher to take full advantage of the updates. if you have not done that until now; this is important for Windows Vista and Windows 7 PC's. Keep in mind that we have tested the Prolific driver that we have posted on this site. The drivers are changing rapidly because of Windows 7 (and its changes). We'll let you know if there's a driver change that you should accept.

Windows USB Converter Driver

This is the latest driver for Prolific USB converters. This package supports Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7. It does NOT support Windows 8 or 10 safely as yet. We will not support until those versions are stable and more reliable. If you are having issues with this interface, we recommend that you switch to an FTDI chipset device.

CPS Power Control Driver

The CPS Power Control is integrated with the Dashboard via its own USB interface. This driver allows the CPS series of power controls and power strips to be integrated with your PC and therefore with the Dashboard. This driver is a product of CPS, Inc. (CPScom.com) and is provided as a courtesy.
